Eyes on The Road or Eyes on The Prize

I almost failed my permit test. Not my drivers test. My permit test. The test that you take before you've even driven a car before, so that you can go practice driving in circles in the empty parking lot of your childhood pool club.

I got 5 wrong and 6 wrong is the cutoff.

I got 5 wrong and 6 wrong is the cutoff and I can almost guarantee that every single person who drives in South Bethlehem and on this campus got a 6 or more wrong.

I have been here for a little over two months and I can not-so-happily say that I have almost been hit by a car at least 10 times.

People here simply do not know how to drive.

I thought that the whole idea behind a cross walk was that pedestrians had a place to walk across the street legally and when a car sees you walking across one, their one job is to stop.

Why don't people STOP?

I have swerved out of harm's way an unacceptable amount of times.

Apparently if you get hit by a Lehigh bus on campus you get free tuition. I wonder if that applies to getting hit by a car on campus. If that's true, people should watch out. And by people, I mean the drivers.
